Mobile Antenna EMC Screened Anechoic Chamber

The Mobile Antenna EMC Screened Anechoic Chamber, measuring 6 m x 5 m x 3 m, can operate from 700 MHz to  12 GHz, using an Anritsu MS46322A Vector Network Analyzer (0.001–20 GHz, 100 dB dynamic range) for beam pattern measurements and antenna return loss measurements. The EMC chamber is equipped with two open boundary quad-ridge horn antennas operating from 400 MHz to 6 GHz (ETS-Lindgren 3164-06) and from 0.8 to 12 GHz (Satimo QH800), allowing vertical and horizontal linear polarisation measurements.

Its use is mainly for the measurement of electrically small antennas built on PCB, generally associated with portable device applications operating under different standards, such as GSM, Bluetooth Wi-FI, GSM, UMTS, LTE and ultra-wideband (UWB) antennas. However, the EMC Screened Anechoic Chamber has also been used for terrestrial TV antenna testings at frequencies between 700-900 MHz.
