Millimetre-wave Compact Antenna Test Range (mmCATR)
The Millimetre-wave CATR is a unique offset tri-reflector Cassegrain-Gregorian system design to work up to mm-wavelength bands. The system consists of one large spherical main reflector of 1 m diameter which induced aberrations are corrected by double pair of shaped mirrors. The quiet zone that forms in front of the main reflector has a diameter of 0.7 m with a 0.6 dB amplitude ripple and 10° phase ripple. The surface rms accuracy is about 9 microns. The facility operates from 60 GHz to 325 GHz.
