NSI Planar Near-Field Antenna Measurement Scanner
The NSI Planar near-field to far-field antenna measurement scanner is an ideal system for measuring medium and high gain antennas (>15 dBi) with small apertures, making it suitable for testing feeds and small arrays or reflector antennas. The Scanner is constructed of modular high strength aluminium. This design is easy to assemble and align, accurate, and can be quickly dismantled for relocation or storage. The system interfaces with a wide variety of RF equipment, is capable of measuring amplitude and phase patterns from S-band to mm-Wave bands (1-100 GHz), and includes NSI Antenna Measurement Software. The software provides automatic set-up of scans based on measurement parameters and desired output. Measured data can be processed for far-field or holographic patterns. A single data set provides complete characterization of the antenna's gain, side lobes structure, beam pointing and cross polarization.
Main features of the system:
- 3ft x 3ft (0.9 m x 0.9 m) Scan Area
- Inverted "T" Frame Design for High Accuracy
- Near-field, far-field and holographic patterns
In addition to the X-Y stage described above, we also have a Z-stage, which allows us to add a third axis covering approximately 0.01 m in range.
