Numerically Controlled Lathe Machine

The EECS Workshop has two CNC lathe machines TL-1 and TL2 from Hass capable of machining contoured irregular shapes and profiles.

HAAS TL-1

 

• TL-1 and TL-2 are fully Workshop CE compliant
• TL-2 has a maximum stock length of 1219 mm and TL-1 has 762 mm
• Both have a chuck capacity of 203 mm and a maximum swing diameter of 406 mm
• Manual toolpost with 1 tool at a time
• Manual and Automatic operations
• Full, highly advanced ISO programming
• Long life and great accuracy
• Extremely accurate turning
• Automatic lubrication, chip tray, coolant equipment, work light and other accessories
• Controller HAAS:
• Friendly graphic user interface (GUI) with full colour screen
• Solid and trajectory graphic simulations
• Different visualization zones and a zoom facility
• Communication with external computers
• Ethernet/Usb connections
