6G Research Laboratory
The 6G research Laboratory provides an access to the following measurement and fabrication facilities:
-
Rohde & Schwartz ZNA-40 up to 43 GHz;
-
Quasi-optical transmittometer, up to 500 GHz;
-
Sets of mm-wave extenders and corresponding horns, from 50 to 330 GHz;
-
Clinotron, powerful (up to 4W) CW source 93-100 GHz;
-
Two probe stations, e.g., Microtech Probe Station;
-
LPKF Protolaser U4; the laser PC cutting machine, which can be used to produce PCBs, antennas and cut pure metal sheets. LPKF Protolaser U4
It allows to undertake so-called VNA-spectroscopy, which frequency based and with much higher resolution than TDS systems, however, with very small bandwidths, comparing to the latter.
