Abstract

The talk introduces DSTL’s approach to mitigating technological surprise from emerging science and technology, with Metamaterials as an example. The talk will give an overview perspective of Metamaterials and discuss our Anglo-French MIMiCRA programme as a case study. It will then reflect on the QUEST programme and highlight some relevant open questions.
